Texas School District to Host Islamist Conference to Fight Islamophobes and Promote Islam

Texas School District to Host Islamist Conference to Fight Islamophobes and Promote Islam

While Americans are lured into a complacent sleep by the constant drum beat of social justice, minority rights, inequality, the need for fairness and tolerance and diversity and to be non-judgmental of others or their views, forces are at work to exploit that sentiment.

While the world is filled with the news of Islamic terror other Islamists are at work to silence the critics by holding informational conferences and conducting public outreach.

One such case is happening in Texas at the Curtis Culwell Center (Garland Independent School District property) which is hosting an Islamic conference titled “Stand with the Prophet in Honor and Respect” that proclaims the need to be “Ready to defeat Islamophobia?” according to the Sound Vision Foundation, “a not for profit organization serving Muslims.”   The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, at 5:00 pm.

The Sound Vision Foundation’s web site states in part: Ready to defeat Islamophobia? This is not an event. It is the beginning of a movement. A movement to defend Prophet Muhammad, his person, and his message.

This benefit will raise funds to establish a Strategic Communication Center for the Muslim community, which will develop effective responses to anti-Islamic attacks, as well as to train young Muslims in media.

islam-in-schools-2Really?

And two of the speakers slated for this event are: Imam Siraj Wahhaj and Abdul Malik Mujahid.  So just who are these individuals?

Imam Siraj Wahhaj (according to the Clarion Project web site)

Wahhaj was listed as an “unindicted person who may be alleged as co-conspirators” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Wahhaj supports the implementation of Sharia (Islamic law) governance, including its criminal punishments. “Islam is better than democracy.  Allah will cause his deen [Islam as a complete way of life], Islam to prevail over every kind of system, and you know what?  It will happen,” he has preached.

In September 2013, the NYPD justified its surveillance of Masjid at-Taqwa by pointing to evidence of terrorist and criminal activity there. The assistant imam is suspected of using the mosque to raise money for terrorist groups.

Wahhaj has been a Vice President of the Islamic Society of North America since 1997 and was a member of the North American Islamic Trust’s Board of Advisors from 1989 to 1993.

Abdul Malik Mujahid (according to the web site CreepingSharia)

said “Qital [killing] is an essential element of Islam. And sometimes you don’t like it. Qital is ordained upon you, though it is hateful to you, but it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you….And one example is, now we have 60 or so Muslim countries, and not a single one of them wants to go for Qital and Jihad for Bosnia. Qital is ordained upon you though it is hateful to you.”

It is absolutely disappointing that a Garland Independent School District would host an event that is aimed at fighting against honest, God fearing Americans who have legitimate concerns about the Islamist movement in America and around the world.

Would Garland host a Nazi Conference? A KKK conference? An Aryan Nation or skinhead conference? An anti-Semitic conference? Then why this one?

Contact the Curtis Culwell Center in Texas and the Garland Independent School District and let them know you think this is an outrage and should be cancelled.

It’s clear Islamists never rest (they lie in wait) and never should non-Muslim Americans rest in the face of such propaganda!  Jefferson said to be ever vigilant and educated to the threats of freedom.  These groups, like the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) are attempting to misinform the public about Islam and teach others how to brand anything anti-Islam as Islamophobia.

noislamWhen one group of Americans is unable to criticize that with which they passionately disagree they are no longer being treated as equals. They don’t see it this way, why, because Islam doesn’t see non-Muslim as equals. Some might say I know a Muslim, I work with a Muslim, I have a Muslim friend or a Muslim neighbor, they treat me well. They just might, good for them, however Islam, their religion, does not. Muhammad didn’t treat his neighbors well – he killed them. And a conference that calls for honoring and respecting Muhammad is an affront to everything American.

The prophet of Islam was a pedophile, a rapist, a polygamist, a racist, a tyrant and a murderer. I don’t find that worth defending – calling it honorable or respectable is beyond an outrage.

Tolerating evil is evil itself. Islamic law, Sharia, does not recognize let alone respect Democracy, liberty or freedom of speech, so if you do, if you believe in God-given inalienable rights — you had better start using them while you still have them.

Voltaire said, “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” When we cannot be critical of an ideology that has been a murdering totalitarian force for 1,400 years something has gone wrong with logic, facts and reason. No matter how many “good” Muslims we might know — Islam is anything but peaceful, it is totalitarian, it is deadly to non-Muslims. Just look around you!

Sharia Law reveals an impassible gulf between Islamic and Western thought and American law. In America, the government derives it’s just powers from the governed and acknowledges the inalienable rights of every individual, of which justice and protection from violence is foremost.

Islam’s legal system is radically different: the father is “governor” or “administrator” of the family. That is, he is a sovereign within his domestic realm, with the right to employ violence to control his wife, children, and others. That alone makes Sharia Law incompatible with the Western concept of human rights.

– The Washington Times – Monday, January 12, 2015

An unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing is a featured speaker at the “Stand With the Prophet in Honor and Respect” conference this weekend in Garland, Texas.

Muslim leaders plan to gather Saturday at Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center for the conference hosted by the group Sound Vision. The event is being billed as a “movement to defend Prophet Muhammad, his person, and his message,” according to event information, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

“Prophet Muhammad inspires love and devotion in the hearts of Muslims, peace be upon him; unfortunately, Islamophobes have turned him into an object of hate,” the conference website says.

Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a black leader of the Muslim Alliance in North America, is scheduled as a keynote speaker. Mr. Wahhaj was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing — meaning authorities believed he was connected to the bombing but never brought charges against him.

“This is not an event. It is the beginning of a movement,” the event website says. “As we celebrate the Prophet in our now annual, nationwide event: Stand with the Prophet, we recommit ourselves to rectify his image, peace be upon him.”

Muslim leaders from across America will gather in Texas this weekend to hold the annual Stand With the Prophet in Honor and Respect conference, a weekend forum that is being billed as a “movement to defend Prophet Muhammad, his person, and his message,” according to event information.

The Saturday event, which seeks to combat “Islamophobes in America” who have turned the Islamic Prophet Muhammad “into an object of hate,” according to organizers, comes just a week after radicalized Islamists in France killed 17 people.

The victims died in events that began with the shooting attack on French newspaper Charlie Hebdo for its satirical cartoons that skewered the prophet.

Organizers of the event place the blame for Islam’s bad reputation on the media and so-called American Islamophobes who have “invested at least $160 million dollars to attack our Prophet and Islam,” according to the conference web page.

Keynote speakers at the event will include Georgetown University professor John Esposito, founding director of the school’s Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, which has come under fire for, among other things, hosting 9/11 Truthers and a member of Egypt’s Nazi Party.

Also scheduled to attend the forum is controversial New York-based Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings trial. Wahhaj has called the FBI and CIA the “real terrorists” and expressed a desire for all Americans to become Muslim, according to the New York Post.

Organizers of the conference claim that the media and Islamophobes in America are the main reason why Islam and its prophet have such a bad reputation in the Western world.

“This is not an event. It is the beginning of a movement,” organizers write on their website, which blames Americans for giving Islam a bad name. “A movement to defend Prophet Muhammad, his person, and his message.”

“All these accusations were invented by Islamophobes in America,” the group claims. “As we celebrate the Prophet in our now annual, nationwide event: Stand with the Prophet, we recommit ourselves to rectify his image, peace be upon him.”

The event seeks to capitalize on outrage over cartoons and other materials mocking Mohammed in popular culture.

“Frustrated with Islamophobes defaming the Prophet?” the event materials ask. “Fuming over extremists like ISIS who give a bad name to Islam? Remember the Danish cartoons defaming the Prophet? Or the anti-Islam film, ‘Innocence of Muslims’?”

The event is being backed by several Muslim groups, including SoundVision, an Illinois-based website that provides advice and products to Muslims; RadioIslam, an AM radio station based in Chicago; and MuslimFest.

It will take place Saturday evening at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

The goal of the forum, which costs $20 to attend, is to raise money to fund a “Strategic Communication Center for the Muslim community, which will develop effective responses to anti-Islamic attacks, as well as to train young Muslims in media.”

This center will be equipped to respond to insults to the prophet, such as when publications run cartoons critical of Mohammed.

“When real events warrant, like the Danish Cartoon controversy, Sharia ban, Quran burning, Boko Haram kidnappings. [Islamic State] brutality, etc., we articulate fresh talking points and content quickly, and in a timely manner, working with professionals to disseminate it through community spokespersons and our allies,” organizers state on their website.

Meanwhile, a German newspaper that re-ran Charlie Hebdo satirical cartoons of Mohammed was firebombed over the weekend, according to reports.

The Muslim groups hosting the Stand with the Prophet event blame the media for fomenting the wrong ideas about Muslims. The site promoting the forum includes a Pew survey finding that the media is the largest influence on the public’s opinion about Muslims.

“Media is making the life of Muslims difficult by turning our neighbors against us,” the website states.

Martin Kramer, a Middle East expert and president of the Shalem College in Jerusalem, criticized Georgetown’s Esposito for participating the Stand with the Prophet forum.

“John Esposito favors ‘incitement to hatred’ legislation, under the rubric of religious freedom, that would effectively trump freedom of expression,” Kramer said. “‘Belief as well as unbelief needs to be protected,’ he has written. ‘Freedom of religion in a pluralistic society ought to mean that some things are sacred and treated as such.’”

“Rallies such as the one Esposito will address have one purpose: granting Islam a protected status, and denying that protection to its critics,” Kramer said.

Esposito did not respond to an email seeking comment about his participation in the event. A Georgetown University spokesman also did not respond to an email request for comment.

Phone calls to SoundVision, the group sponsoring the event and hosting information about it online, were not answered or returned. An email to the site’s informational address also was not returned.

Patrick Poole, a terrorism expert and national security reporter, said the conference is part of larger campaign to blame some in America for the negative impression of Muslims in the West.

“This is a yet another manifestation of ‘Islamophobia’-phobia,” Poole said. “The conference organizers invoke an ‘Islamophobia hate machine’ based in the U.S. that is responsible for defaming Muslims worldwide but the events of the past week and other recent attacks have done more to damage the image of Islam than any other factor.”

The Muslim community must take responsibility and stop blaming the West for Islam’s faltering image, Poole said.

“What this conference makes clear is that the Muslim community needs to find better leadership. The jig is up on Islamic leaders who rush to the microphones to denounce terrorism, only to find they justify and support terrorism when speaking inside their mosques or conferences,” Poole said.

“The standard message that any terrorist yelling ‘Allahu Akhbar’ has nothing to do with the Muslim community while any graffiti on a mosque is a sign of widespread ‘Islamophobia’ just isn’t selling any more,” he added. “Rather than revising their talking points, they’re doubling down on their narrative and it will only serve to isolate the Muslim community even further.”

Pamela Geller attempts to educate an idiot

“Listen to this interview to hear Pamela Geller telling the truth while a sneering and willfully blind Geraldo Rivera heaps abuse on her. This interview epitomizes the uphill battle that freedom fighters have to get the truth out against the opposition of a thoroughly corrupt and deeply compromised mainstream media. But try as he might in this shameful performance, Geraldo never succeeds in derailing Geller’s message or putting her on the defensive.”

CAIR conducts Jihad in USA

Dont worry . . . it’s not the violent kind . . . yet

The USA division of Hamas, known as CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) is conducting a Stealth Jihad operation in Oklahoma in a blatant propaganda tactic distributing DVDs aimed at showing islam to be a religion of peace and the violent acts of it’s followers not really reflecting the religion.

yeah, we know – who you gonna believe – them or your lying eyes . . .

CAIR’s propaganda tool, Adam Soltani is seen on camera trying to convince us that islam teaches muslims

“to be kind, merciful and just”

He goes on further state that it’s

“unfortunately common these days to associate islam and muslims with terrorism and violence and negative connotations.”

Well yeah, Duh!  . . . we wonder why.

Perhaps its the close to 20,000 Violent Jihad attacks since Sep 11 2001 conducted by muslims in the name of their religion (See chart from Religion of Peace on left of screen)

Perhaps it’s the hair trigger violence conducted by muslims in the name of their religion as a reaction to any grievance, most of which are fabricated.

Perhaps they are following the words, acts and deeds of their prophet mohammed as their scripture tells them to

Perhaps . . . well we could go on

Soltani then doubles down on his deception (taqiyya) by claiming

“the violent acts of muslims around the world in the name of islam may share the same faith but do not reflect or represent what the faith teaches”

Oh!  so now they misunderstand the religion. . . . Funny that. A 1400 year history of violence, hate and intolerance in name of islam resulting in over 270 million non-muslims slaughtered is because its a religion that can be so easily misunderstood. Some religion!

He concludes the TV interview by claiming differences can be resolved through mutual understanding and interfaith dialog

Really, Adam? In the words of Pat Condell, as seen earlier on this blog  – islam brings nothing to the table of mutual understanding and interfaith dialog except decades of “baseless grievance mongering and knee-jerk offense whaich have shown us this religion for what it really is and now we dont like it, we dont trust it and we are never going to repsect it”

The TV presenter lets us know that their broadcast later that evening will show more of terror linked CAIR’s trope of muslim victimhood (which is as yet unproven)

If there are as many lies, deceptions and distorted truths in their DVD as there was in this TV interview, Goebbels would be proud

Watch the whole disgusting spectacle here

Now is the time to revisit the US State Dept aide who has ties to Muslim Brotherhood

Much ballyhoo surrounded the questions raised a few weeks ago by alert Members of Congress about the presence of Huma Abedin (more formally known at Mrs. Anthony Wiener) as a close and senior advisor to US Secretary of State Mrs. Clinton

Ms Abedin, an American born muslima, raised in the hate filled schools of  Saudi Arabia, has close family ties to the muslim brotherhood with her mother and siblings featuring in prominent roles as  brotherhood operatives overseas and in the USA. Huma herself was on the board of muslim brotherhood controlled Muslim Students Association while at Georgetown University in 1997 & 1998 (the same MSA that a few years later would be headed by  the US-born Al Qaeda leader Anwar A-Awlaki – now thankfully permanently retired courtesy a US drone)

Readers may remember the forceful way that the media, the ummah (worldwide muslim community), and even fellow congressional representatives all excoriated the brave patriotic members of Congress who merely asked the question “Did huma Abedin receive adequate screening procedures, based on her history and family connections to violent, extremist and anti-American groups before being given access to sensitive State Department files, archives and materials?”

Perhaps the rest of America is now ready for that discussion.

It may help answer the question of why the US Secretary of State’s first reaction last week (on September 11th  of all days) was not to protect US lives and interests abroad, but instead to follow the muslim brotherhood talking points about criminalizing free speech if it “offends” islam. (hint: the act of being a non-muslim is offensive to islam)

‘Arab Spring’ Explodes in Attacks Against America

by Clare Lopez

…these were acts of war. There can be no question but that they were coordinated acts of war, purposely timed to fall on America’s solemn day of commemoration of the worst jihadist attacks ever committed on the U.S. homeland (by Iran and al-Qa’eda, which sprang from the Muslim Brotherhood).

Diplomatic facilities are the sovereign territory of the country to which they belong. The host country is responsible for their security – and even though neither Egyptian nor Libyan uniformed government forces directly participated in the attacks, it is obvious that their Muslim Brotherhood supporters, the ones who elected them to office and who are now calling for jihad and sharia, were.

Moreover, it is also clear that the U.S. Department of State was aware of the impending threat to its facilities over the film because its Cairo Embassy issued a despicable statement of abject appeasement in advance of the attacks that offered up the treasured right of American free speech on the altar of Islamophobia.

U.S. Embassy Condemns Religious Incitement

September 11, 2012

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.

That statement came directly out of the talking points of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on its Ten-Year Programme of Action and is intended by both the OIC and the U.S. Department of State to impose legal limits on Americans’ freedom of speech by criminalizing criticism of Islam. Recall that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hosted OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in Washington, D.C. in mid-December 2011 to discuss implementation mechanisms for “Resolution 16/18,” a declaration adopted by the U.N. Human Rights Council in April 2011. Resolution 16/18 calls on countries to combat “intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization” based on religion without criminalizing free speech – except in cases of “incitement to imminent violence.” If now the measure of “incitement to imminent violence” is a “test of consequences” that imposes prior restraint on freedom of expression because of the unpredictability of volatile Muslim populaces easily roused to murderous fury, as in Benghazi and Cairo, then Islamic law on slander will have been enforced.

This is the real meaning of these attacks, which were purposefully calculated precisely to elicit the craven press release quoted above from the U.S. State Department. This is how dhimmitude is implemented. Islamic Jihad and Gama’a al-Islamiyya demands for the release of Omar Abdul Rahman (the “Blind Sheikh”), now serving a life sentence in U.S. federal prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, also have been issued, along with a threat to burn the U.S. Cairo Embassy to the ground if these demands are not met.

We are witnessing the stepped process of the Islamization of American domestic and foreign policy unfold before our eyes and in accordance with both Sayyed Qutb’s classic book “Milestones,” as well as a November 2011 fatwa from Yousef al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s senior jurist, in which he said, “Gradualism in applying the Sharia is a wise requirement to follow.”

The timeline began to shift into high gear in the summer of 2010, however, when al-Qa’eda called the Muslim world to action, a call answered in October 2010 by Muhammad Badi’ with a declaration of war (jihad) against the U.S., Israel, and Arab and Muslim regimes which were “disregarding Allah’s commandment to wage jihad.” The shift to active, violent jihad reflected obedience to al-Qaradawi’s further fatwa injunction, “Gradualism in that sense does not mean we are to procrastinate and put off applying the Sharia.”

The new Caliphate is rising under the leadership of the OIC through the directed action of its individual member states in coordination with the Muslim Brotherhood. Violent jihad is unleashed, and the United States of America is bowing to sharia on satellite TV and the global internet for all the world to see.

As of late Tuesday night, September 11, there had been not one word of criticism of the Benghazi or Cairo attacks from President Obama. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland seemed oblivious to the magnitude of what had just transpired, telling one reporter who mentioned “growing anti-U.S. sentiment” in Egypt, “I would urge you not to draw too many conclusions because we’ve also had some very positive developments in our relationship with Egypt.”

By this she clarified that she meant that Egyptians are undergoing a transition to democracy and are now free to protest … including against the very benefactor who not only helped them oust their long-time military rulers but has just delivered its annual $1.5 billion in aid and promised another billion in debt relief.

As the flag of al-Qa’eda flies over the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and the RPGs slam into the Benghazi Consulate; as Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood president talks nuclear programs with Iran and the American president abandons Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to the mullahs or Armageddon, the “Arab Spring” is completely unmasked.

This was no spontaneous outburst of oppressed peoples dreaming of democracy and individual liberty. This was the Islamic Awakening dreamed of for centuries by Sunni and Shi’a alike. Al-Qa’eda and the Muslim Brotherhood at last have merged visibly in a sea of waving black flags.
