Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi

On September 16th, the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi held its first conference. Ten of the Commission’s 13 members were on hand to address the audience, and the American public through a live webcast. Individual videos of the comments of each of the Commission members have been posted, as well as of the seven featured speakers who also took part in the conference. There was a lively Q&A following each of the featured speakers. You can see who the various speakers were in this program from the event.

The first featured speaker of the day was Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA). Wolf has been a leader in Congress to get to the truth of what happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, when four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens were killed. Wolf is the sponsor of H. Res. 36, calling for a Select Committee to look into the events of and surrounding that tragic day last year.

On this website, you will find the Declaration of the Commission, bios of all of the Commission members, relevant articles and reports, and full coverage of the September 16th conference. Be sure not to miss the presentations of Clare Lopez, Ken Timmerman, Larry Ward, Christopher Farrell, and Charles Woods, father of fallen Benghazi defender Tyrone Woods.

To view or read the other comments, discussions and Q&A, click on the “Sept. 16 Conference” tab at the top of the linked page. Please take some time to explore this website. There is a lot of valuable, insightful information from high ranking retired military officers and CIA officers that will help you understand how and why the U.S. State Department failed to provide adequate security for the U.S. Mission in Benghazi; how the Obama administration failed to provide adequate military support to attempt to rescue the Americans under attack; and the administration’s deceitful efforts to cover up the truth about the attack on the Mission.
