Nigeria: Muslims separate Christian students from Muslim students, murder 25-30 Christians

Clearly these jihadis were enraged over “Islamophobia.” If we criminalize criticism of Islam, all will be well.

Here is more on the jihad massacre in Nigeria posted here yesterday. “Christian Students Executed by Boko Haram in Nigeria; Believers Pray for ‘Change of Heart,’” by Katherine Weber for the Christian Post, October 3 (thanks to Jay):

Multiple sources have confirmed that about 25 to 30 Christian college students were massacred at a university in northeastern Nigeria late Monday night, causing Christians to pray for a “change of heart” among the extremist Islamist group Boko Haram to put a stop to the continued violence.While there is speculation as to the motive of the massacre, sources close to the human rights watchdog Open Doors USA confirm that the massacre was performed by Boko Haram….

The killings reportedly occurred in the late night hours on Oct. 1, when masked gunmen went door-to-door in the off-campus housing section of Federal Polytechnic College in Mubi, a city in the remote Adamawa State in northeastern Nigeria.

Open Doors USA sources confirmed that the gunmen separated the Christian students from the Muslim students, addressed each victim by name, questioned them, and then proceeded to shoot them or slit their throat….

Savage Is as Savage Does

“It’s going to spark controversy, obviously, when you deem one side savages and the other side civilized.” That’s what man-on-the-street Colby Richardson says in this news clip, knitting his brows earnestly in the direction of an advertisment (above) posted in the New York subway by organizations run by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.

It is indeed “controversial” to frame the war waged by the Arab-Islamic world — and, don’t forget, its Eurabian patrons — against the state of Israel as The Savage vs. The Civilized, but is it also correct? Is such a question possible to answer from the rut of moral equivalence we have dug for ourselves? Is today’s brain-washed cultural relativist even capable of conceiving of “war” — rather than the muted term “conflict” –  between “savage” and ” civilized”?

The postmodern perspective is uprooted from all such concepts deriving from good and evil. “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” is the scrim through which we have been schooled to view the “Arab-Israeli,” or, today, the “Israeli-Palestinian” war. In the blur, there is no good and evil, so, of course, there is no civilized and savage. And Lord knows, there is no “jihad.” There is only “conflict” to be channeled into “the peace process,” by which, of course, Israel’s sovereignty and safety is chipped away until there is no more conflict — and no more Israel, either.

But the jihad will continue.

When this poster went up last week, it was attacked, physically, by a small group of “activists.” One of them was Mona Eltahawy, a well-known MSNBC and CNN commentator. The New York Post captured her spray-can assault on the poster on video, and thank goodness. It is riveting but also highly significant footage. Eltahawy, a self-described liberal, secular Muslim with an MSM soapbox, continues to spray pink paint on the poster even as a woman attempts to defend the poster, Eltahawy all the while insisting she is exercising her right of free speech by ruining the poster. What a story for “blasphemy” week – free speech, pink paint, erupting pundit … But I have yet to learn of the video running on any Big Media TV shows, and especially not Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s Fox News. (For a quick reality check, imagine if Rachel Maddow were videotaped spray-painting an anti-Obama ad ….)

Eltahawy maintains the poster expresses “racism” and “hate.” These are buzz words, camouflage Elathawy uses to justify her own rather savage response to a printed political idea. But they do the trick. Over time, these words have become dependable conversation-enders to short-circut thinking itself. Here, they are designed to stop all logical consideration of the dichotomy the poster forces upon us: Savage vs. Civilized.

But let us try to evaluate the terminology at its most elementary level: the Islamic jihad to destroy Israel (novel concept) is waged by terrorists who target civilians…

Pamela Geller attempts to educate an idiot

“Listen to this interview to hear Pamela Geller telling the truth while a sneering and willfully blind Geraldo Rivera heaps abuse on her. This interview epitomizes the uphill battle that freedom fighters have to get the truth out against the opposition of a thoroughly corrupt and deeply compromised mainstream media. Egyptian TV airs slow beheading of Tunisian Muslim who converted to Christianity

As published by The Christian Post, a video was recently shown on Egyptian television reportedly depicting the literal carving-off of the head of a bound Tunisian man who had abandoned Islam and converted to Christianity.

A heavily edited version of the video (sans actual bloodshed) was also aired on Canadian TV’s political discussion program “The Arena” hosted by Michael Coren of Canada’s Sun News Network (please see video link, left).

Coren begins his segment by matter-of-factly stating:

“There is a video on the web right now showing a man having his head cut off slowly and agonizingly, essentially because he has converted to Christianity from Islam.”

While rolling the video, Coren went on to say:

“… various Islamic chants going on right now, and this goes on for some time before this poor man’s head is actually cut off.

They taunt him for the longest time, he’s completely unable to move or resist.

And finally, his head is cut off and held up for the camera.”

As the executioner begins slicing at the side of the man’s neck, those observing the slaying off-camera shouted “Allahu Akbar! (God is great).

The Christian Post reports that as the execution begins, the victim appears to be silently mouthing a prayer.

After a full two minutes of hacking and carving, the “beheading” is finally completed — to the cheers and and cries of Islamic victory from the assembled crowd….

Can you imagine in your wildest dreams nightmares slowing hacking off the head of a human? It’s not even within the realm of possibility is it? Very likely everyone reading this would shrink from killing another human, and would hate to do so, even to defend self or family. We would take no pleasure in it.  Yet these absolute savages have killed this convert to Christianity, and the atmosphere is like a party- a fun, celebratory event.

It’s time to take a stand. Will we stand with the civilized man, or the savage?

‘Adulteress’ Slaughtered in Afghanistan

A video of a woman, Najiba, being shot dead in Afghanistan while a cheering crowd yells “Allahu akbar,” “Long live Islam,” and “Long live mujahideen” has provoked international outrage. Australia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Bob Carr, called the shooting “a barbaric attack on a defenceless woman and another stark reminder of the brutalities that were regularly committed under Taliban rule, and of the task ahead of us in advancing the rights of Afghan women and girls.” British Foreign Secretary William Hague said: “Such deplorable actions underline the vital need for better protection of the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan.”

And so in the waning days of the West’s fruitless adventure in Afghanistan, at least two of our NATO allies have a new mission: protecting the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan. The video itself makes clear that this will be an uphill battle; and in any case the fate of Afghan women and girls was sealed, at least as far as getting any help from the West was concerned, when the Western powers oversaw the adoption of a Constitution in Afghanistan that enshrined Islamic law as the highest law of the land.

But many Muslim spokesmen have denied that the murder of Najiba had anything to do with Islam or Sharia in the first place. Many have decried the fact that Najiba was executed for adultery when there doesn’t seem to have been any evidence presented. Maulavi Sidiqullah Fedayee, an Afghan Islamic scholar, explains: “Islam has very clear rules. These clear rules of Islam cannot be changed. Those who implement Shari’a simply on the basis of accusations do not have an adequate understanding of the rules of Islam….In a case of adultery, there must be four witnesses, and these witnesses must testify that they actually saw the woman and a man together engaged in sexual intercourse.”

Fedayee is correct: absent a confession (which, for all anyone knows, may have been obtained in Najiba’s case), Islamic law requires four male Muslim witnesses who actually saw the act of adultery in order to establish it. This odd stipulation is based on Qur’an 24:4 and 24:13, which in turn are based, according to Islamic tradition, on a notorious incident in Muhammad’s life: his favorite wife, Aisha, was accused of adultery and thus had to be put to death, whereupon Muhammad received a revelation requiring four witnesses. Aisha’s accusers didn’t have them, and so she was exonerated…
