Houston, Texas, at the corner of Post Oak and Westheimer- time for a rally!
It was near 100 degrees on this August day. Humid, of course. The women were wiping sweat from their faces, and fanning themselves. Do they know in America, they don’t have to do this? If they dressed in normal clothing, would they be beaten?
It’s heartbreaking to see all these little girls swathed in inappropriate, hot clothing. They are being deprived of a normal childhood.
Free Palestine from Israeli brutality? This is nonsense. It’s not the Israeli’s who shoot rockets indiscriminately into Gaza- it’s the other way around.
Ugh. Poor little girl. Can you imagine forcing your little one to dress like this? Especially in this heat? This seems verging on abuse. And the sign you see in the middle of the photo? “Israeli Policy, No access to medical care”? Absolutely false. Israel is so good, so kind, that even relatives of terrorist organization leaders get medical care: “Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh’s Brother-in-Law Gets Medical Care in Israel”.
More here and here on the myth that Palestinians don’t receive decent medical care because of Israel.
Typical. A man in shorts and t-shirt, and women draped in yards of hot, miserable fabric. Why is this? Is it because the men can’t be counted on to control themselves? Would the sight of a women in jeans and t-shirt inflame them? Are women shameful creatures, needing to cover up their shameful selves? Women, you don’t have to live like this. You are in a free country. You can make the choice to lead a normal, productive life, living and dressing as you wish. There are women’s shelters in Houston that could help you get a fresh start and protect you from honor killing.
Domestic Violence Hotline (713) 528-2121. Please consider it.
One of the signs above says: “Israel starves Gaza children”. Really?
I don’t think so:
For those children who may be hungry, let’s blame the actual culprits- the awful leaders of various terror organizations who prefer to wage war and keep their people in misery.
So many little ones, being taught from the youngest age to hate the Jews. Little ones are learning that the cause of all their troubles are the Jews.
Take a good look Houston. This is who your neighbors are.
****One last tidbit- the population of Muslims in Texas has almost quadrupled between 2000 and 2010.

Where is C.P.S. to take the children away. If that was an Amercan group who did this the police would have arested the mothers
I support Israel, and I think these people are misguided in their protesting, but it is America. We have the liberty to peacefully protest about issues important to us. Now having said that, if anyone is swayed to think like these people simply based on their misguided signs of protest, I would question their sanity. Anyone in their right mind can research the topic and see all the claims against Israel are false and full of lies. If it really bothers anyone, they can counter protest or ignore them.
It gave them something to do, though not very realistic for a Western culture. In the West, women are not treated like another work animal or forced into second-class education situation. Few people consider QUDs a day of peace in the West. It is the opportunity to preach hate.
Stop sidetracking the main issue here by harping and criticising the muslims dress code. It’s their choice, leave it alone. Talk about the Israil abuse. Read “The Complete International Jew – the world’s foremost problem” written by Henry Ford, before the first holocaust.
When someone on FB cites a 90 year old antisemitic screed (Henry Ford’s “International Jew”) and implies that they are only anti-Israel and not Jew haters, we know they are desparately looking for an explanation for their own personal failures in career and relationships. This is a disease not only afflicting many countries in the Middle East, but also many immigrants to America. Their societal failures must be external (Jooz) and not of their own doing. Thank you Ms. Mandiviwala for pointing this out.
