MEET FARHA AHMED’S FELLOW PANELISTS ON THE ISLAMIST SPEAKERS CIRCUIT

Farha Ahmed, candidate in a runoff election for a Seat on Sugar Land City Council is mentioned here as being associated with groups designated by the US Department of Justice as Muslim Brotherhood fronts. At least one campaign donor is in a leadership role of one those organizations .

In 2008, Ahmed was a speaker at a Houston conference held by ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) a group with self admitted ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. ISNA remains designated as funding terrorists and genocidal lunatics Hamas.

The conference agenda can be found here. Farha appears on two panels (page 8 ).

Whilst the topic of one panel focused on a woman’s place in a mosque, the two male members of the panel were known for something entirely different.

Louay Safi: named as a co-conspirator in a 2005 terrorism case. Subsequently suspended from his Fort Bliss, Tx job as an Islamic studies instructor after the Al-Qaeda inspired fellow Islamist Major Hassan murdered his fellow soldiers in the Jihad massacre at Fort Hood. More information about Safi’s radical views, his collaboration with convicted terrorists and his 2010 military arrest here.

Muneer Fareed, (ISNA Secretary-General). Some six weeks prior to appearing on this panel with Ahmed, Fareed was taking then Presidential Candidate John McCain to task for offending Muslims as a result of McCain’s refusal to delink Terrorism from radical Islam. Shortly after appearing on this panel, Farha, speaking as head of the Muslim American Republican Caucus refused to endorse the Republican Candidate for President, McCain.

Fahra Ahmed’s second panel that day was titled “Strengthening Our Marriages”.

Fellow panelist Ibrahim Dremali was no stranger to controversy, but not of the marriage kind. The Boca Raton mosque he founded held an October 2000 rally supporting Hezbollah, during which he watched on as the crowd chanted “with jihad we’ll claim our land, Zionist blood will wet the sand”. Dremali’s association with convicted terrorists Jose Padilla, Adham Hassoun and Kifah Jayyousi is detailed here. Dremali was arrested, along with his wife in Texas August 2010, on charges of Immigration Fraud, detailed here

Strengthening Marriages indeed.

Questions we think Sugar Land voters could be asking themselves:

How can a person not know of the background, views and associations of her fellow panelists at a prestigious conference of a National Organization?

As it appears Ahmed’s fellow panelists have radical Islamist connections, including close associations with those serving jail time for terrorism, was Ahmed there because she has a sympathetic viewpoint, an opposing viewpoint, or was this a whitewash exercise designed to make an Islamist agenda more palatable to the masses?

  3. I read the books, gone to presentations, listened to Bridgette Gabriel, and seen endless news coverage–it all can lead to only one conclusion. America needs to push back and push back hard before we go the way of Europe.
